Facilities

This parkrun, located in east Belfast, has a car park across the street from the start line, but this being an urban parkrun there are bus services to the park. A public toilet is available near the start line but there are no changing facilities.

Course

There are a lot of twists and turns on this course, with one small lap followed by three big laps around the park. There is good variety as you go around, with a few climbs, a few flats, open and forested pathways. The surface is mostly paved but with a little bit of gravel in the woods.

Coffee

Parkrunnners go for coffee in a cafe close to the start line.

X Factor

The large numbers of parkrunners attending events in Belfast continues to surprise me, especially when there are so many other parkruns in the city. Long may the running bug continue.
